| กก | The 2006 US CMS Collaboration Meeting will be
hosted by the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, Nebraska.
The meeting will be held at the UNL Champions Club, 100 meters from the Department of Physics and Astronomy. The blocks of hotel rooms (see Accommodations)will be held through March 16 (Embassy Suites) and March 24 (Holiday Inn). Please register for the meeting as soon as possible. |
Travel Information
| กก | Participants can fly into either the Lincoln or Omaha airports. Several airlines service one or both airports from key hubs -- Chicago O'Hare and Midway, Denver, Detroit, Minneapolis, Memphis, Altanta, Newark, etc. For those flying into Lincoln, the two meeting hotels have complimentary airport shuttles, so a rental car will not be necessary. The hotels are a 5 minute walk from the Champions Club. A taxi from the Lincoln airport directly to the Champions Club will cost about $10 and take 10 minutes. For those flying into Omaha, a convenient Omaha-Lincoln shuttle service is available in each direction that can drop off/pick up at either of the meeting hotels. Check their website for schedules and reservations. If you rent a car at the Omaha airport, Lincoln is a one-hour drive west on I-80, and parking is available at the hotels and close to the Champions Club. |
